Made from the finest Italian carbon steel adhering to the strictest standards of Sculpture House, our 4-tooth stone carving chisel is hand-forged by master craftsmen at our Italian factory. It is commonly used as the second step in the reduction of large amounts of stone right after using the point chisel.
This steel is tempered for use on soapstone and alabaster. Its cutting edges (teeth) are tempered for long-lasting use.
